Sty In The Eye

A 'sty in the eye' is an inflamed pimple or abscess that forms in or on the eyelid. They can be painful but normally fade away on their own. Do not attempt to pop a sty, as this can cause an infection in the eye. If your sty does not go away within a week, visit a healthcare professional to treat it.
