Stuffy Nose

A stuffy nose isn't from mucous clogging it but from inflammation of the tissue and blood vessels lining the nose. This is why blowing your nose doesn't clear it. Congested noses are rarely serious, usually a result of allergies or colds. Talk with your healthcare provider if your symptoms persist longer than three weeks or are accompanied by pain or discharge.
